I feel relief and a sense of loss at the same time. Relief because I don’t have to worry about the harvest outside anymore, a sense of loss because I miss the excitement… it’s strange, but it’s like that every year…

It was a little more than two months from the beginning to the last picking… Now, with clear head I feel hopeful regarding the whole process, I’m confident that exciting wines will be made from the 2022 vintage.

Of course, not everything turned out as I planned either, we had to constantly adapt to the possibilities (for example, the 3 weeks of rain in September, it hurt a lot…) but that is the beauty of winemaking… that is what we love a lot…
